To deliberately create your reality, it is important for you to understand your desires.
Are you clear on what it is that you want and why you want it?
How good are you at knowing what you want and why you want it?
After working with several clients, I believe that most people are less than 25 percent effective at knowing what they want. Out of those people that have decided on what they want, only approximately 10 percent of them have the clarity to know why they want it.
Far too many people decide that they want to be, do or have something; however, possession of that thing alludes them because they did not ask themselves what their “why” is. If your “why” is not strong enough, your chances of getting there are minimized.
You can improve this skill with practice. Complete the following sentence whenever you want to get clear on why you want something.
I want <fill in blank> because I believe that getting this will make me feel <fill in blank> and <fill in blank>.
Some examples:
"I want to live in a beautiful house because I believe this will make me feel happy to be surrounded by beauty, organized, and in control of my life.
I want a new sports car because I believe that getting this will make me feel powerful and in control.
I want a relationship with this person because I believe that this will make me feel secure and connected.
And so it it,
