Occasionally, I get quite stumped in my life and cannot think of the right actions to take. That is a real crunch for me. Let me share one of my tricks with you. I act “as if". Sometimes that means that I search for someone that I think is currently living that out in their life. Then, whenever I became stumped, I would do what I thought that person would do!
Eventually, I was able to learn how to handle myself in different ways that proved productive, positive, and effective. In the meantime, modeling that other person was something that really worked.
Thoughts alone do not help us clean out the closet of our mind. Thoughts lead to feelings, those feelings lead us to take actions and those actions lead to the results that we experience in our life. If you do not like the current results in your life, you must change your thinking, experience the feelings of those new thoughts and also change your actions.
There are those times in life when we have a difficult time getting our thoughts or our feelings to be in alignment with our conscious desires. If this should ever happen to you, simply "act as if" and allow your thoughts and emotions to follow. Sometimes we have to act our way into right thinking. If you do not know what to do to act differently, ask yourself “what would I do if I did know how to handle this situation?” Then do it!
If you find yourself unable to think of a way to act differently in the moment, do what I do–imagine what someone you admire might do and then do it!
Using this technique is letting your subconscious mind know in a very powerful, positive and persuasive way that you have made the decision to change and that you ARE changing!
I heard Tony Robbins say “If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten.”
Remember that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results! If you do not like the results you are receiving, change what you have been doing!

Excellent advice Rachel.
If you want it, imagine it, is what I think about when I'm working too hard or feel stressed. That's the blessing of the imagination – it's a predictive creative faculty.
Thanks for sharing your insight
Thanks for sharing Ryan. I think that the blessing of imagination is the freedom it gives us to go far beyond what we currently see
