How to Manifest Money

By now, many people have seen the movie The Secret and everyone seems to be talking about the Law of Attraction. We all want to manifest wonderful things in our lives.  So many people that I have  talked to are attempting to use the Law of Attraction to become financially independent.  They want to be a magnet to money.  Money seems to be a major focus in our society at this time. This is understandable because human beings are always striving for more.  More abundance in our relationships, more abundance in health, and more abundance in our bank account. Perhaps that is where the old saying, “If you’re not growing, you’re dying” originated.

If we are going to use the Law of Attraction to bring money to us, we must not have negative thoughts when we spend money or pay our bills. That would be considered "scarcity thinking" and scarcity thinking only attracts more scarcity to us. That can be tough when there is a very limited amount of money in your bank account. So how we can change this thinking into something more productive?

First, be thankful for the abundance that we do have. That abundance may be love for a family member or a family pet.  It may be the abundance of oxygen that we breathe each day. Or the abundance in our forests and the plants that are constantly supporting us with more oxygen and other resources that we need.  If we can create abundance in one area, why not create it in another?

I had someone recently say that we need to be friends with money in order to have more of it. That sounded odd to me at first.  But then I considered it in more detail. If you have a very good friend, how do you treat them? You respect, trust, and support (being there in times of need) them. Suze Orman, author of the book “The Courage to Be Rich” says:

We should nurture it, treat it well, and it will grow and flourish; treat it carelessly or with disrespect, and it will dwindle away to nothing. Simply put, if you respect money and give it the attention it needs, it will respect you back. Conversely, the emotions of shame, fear and anger cloud your financial judgment and take away your power over money. When these emotions determine your spending patterns or force you to deny or defy the truth about your money, they not only wreak havoc on your finances, they actually repel money from you.

There you have it.  To attract money instead of repelling it, think of it as a friend. Money is there for you.  It is always supporting you as a good friend does. Never doubt your money friend. Doubt is negative energy and repels the very thing that you want. Open your heart to your money friend that is always there for you. Notice how good it feels to have this friend supporting you.  Notice  how much fun life is becoming with the abundance of this friendship

If negative thoughts come up about money, just pretend you are on the computer and say “delete, delete” and focus again on that wonderful friendship with money. Then relax and know that the perfect amount of money will always be there for you.

To your prosperity,

I think that is a really interesting perspective. For me, it brings it back to the fact that we need to create awareness around our mindset whether it be money or any other aspect impacting our lives. Money is definately a biggy for most people and I like that you give a really fun perspective for people to play with.

Thanks for commenting Ali. I agree, this applies to anything we want to deliberately create–not just money.

I am always searching for ways to remove a negative charge off things so that I can be in alignment with my desire…vibrational shift.

Rachel, I loved this post. Think of money as a good friend, what a great energy shift! I'll definitely use this advice, thank you!

Hi Lana. Thanks for leaving a comment. I just thought that it was a simple adaption of the basic law of attraction–if we believe that the world is a lovely and friendly place, then that is what we will experience most of the time.

Please let me know how you experienced your shift.
