Are you struggling and/or paddling in the same place? I have found that few people are aware of the role of the Law of Gender when they are setting their goals. The Law of Gender states that all seeds have a gestation or incubation period before they manifest in form. Goals are subject to this law just as physical seeds are. Many of us have set a goal that did not materialize when we wanted it to. Sometimes this is because we did not give the goal sufficient time.
Be patient. Be confident that the things you want will materialize. If your goal is worthy of you, do not change your goal or, worse still, give up on it. Change your deadline. I love a statement made by Napoleon Hill in Think and Grow Rich:
"When riches begin to come, they come so quickly and in such great abundance that one wonders where they have been hiding during all those lean years".
None of us can know the gestation period of a thought seed. I know, you do not want to have to go through that waiting period, you know, that what is described as the universal law of gender, that everything has a gestation period.
Have your ever planted a tomatoes in your vegetable garden? When you planted your tomato seeds, did you go out six weeks after you planted it and fuss the seed because it is not bearing fruit yet? Did you become frustrated, depressed, feel sorry for yourself because you planted this tomato seed and there still are no tomatoes six weeks later. Of course, you did not. Why? Because you knew when you planted, the seed that there is a 90-day gestation period for tomatoes from the time you plant a seed until the time you can harvest tomatoes. To visit your garden 42 days after planting the seed expecting tomatoes is foolish.
You do not let it depress you or discourage you. However, we often become depress or discouraged when our goals do not materialize by our target date. We do not accept the period of gestation for our goals. We want it now…in fact, we wanted it yesterday. Understand that the things that you desire need a period of growth, continue to do the core activities of a goal and you will ultimately meet with success.
Select a deadline date for your goal that you know is feasible for you. Keep in mind that the date is, at best, an educated guess that may take more or less time than you had originally planned and is governed by the Law of Gender. It can happen quickly. Moreover, when it does, it comes in large quantities. It is amazing!

Great post- love the tomato comparison. You can’t expect overnight results- but you have to keep watering!
